For newcomers we offer an introduction to Zen practice. Even if you have practiced Zen somewhere else before, we recommend these introductory evenings, so that you can become familiar with the style of our tradition.
If you are unable to such an introduction (because, for example, you do not live in Berlin), you can begin your Zazen practice by following the detailed instructions given in The Three Pillars of Zen by Roshi Philip Kapleau.
After an introductory session you are welcome to participate in the regular activities of our group. We have Zazen and Chanting every monday evening, Zazenkai (all-day-sitting) and Sesshin (one-week intensive retreat).
